Blazor development and consulting, from the people behind bUnit
Building a new Blazor application, stuck with an existing one, or ready to leave WebForms and MVC behind? We join as developers, consultants or reviewers, with the experience of the people who maintain the most widely used Blazor testing tool.
Blazor, and we maintain the testing library for it ourselves
Steven Giesel maintains bUnit, the component testing library most Blazor teams already have in their test projects. That is not a badge on a slide: it means we have read the framework from the inside, and we know which parts of it hold up under a real application.
We build new Blazor applications, take over ones that have stalled, and move WebForms and MVC code bases across without a rewrite from zero. This website runs on Blazor and .NET 10, so everything we recommend is something we run ourselves.
bUnit, close to 18 million downloads
The testing library for Blazor components, maintained by our founder. Open source, and used by teams far beyond our own projects.

New Blazor applications
From the first component to production, with a render model chosen for your users rather than for the demo.
-
WebForms and MVC migration
Moving a grown ASP.NET application to Blazor page by page, so the product keeps shipping while the migration runs.
-
Component libraries and design systems
A shared component set your teams actually reuse, accessible by default rather than audited afterwards.
-
Component testing with bUnit
A test suite that covers rendering, state and interaction, set up by the people who maintain the tool.
-
Render models and interactivity
Static server rendering, interactive server, WebAssembly or a mix. We pick per page, not per project.
-
Performance and diagnostics
Finding the re-renders, the oversized payloads and the circuit problems that make a Blazor application feel slow.
When Blazor fits, and when we recommend something else
Blazor fits well
Your team writes C#, you build line-of-business applications, portals or internal tools, and you want to share models and validation between server and UI rather than maintain them twice.
We tell you honestly
If your team has deep Angular or React experience and little .NET, a switch is rarely worth the effort. We also work with Angular and React and recommend what fits your team, not what we most like to write.
Blazor consulting for teams across the DACH region
We are based in Cham near Zug and work with teams in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, remotely or on site. Reviews, pairing and workshops work just as well remotely, and for kick-offs and architecture workshops we are happy to visit.
Frequently asked questions about Blazor
Is Blazor ready for production?
Yes. Blazor is a core part of ASP.NET Core and Microsoft develops it further with every .NET release. This website itself runs on Blazor and .NET 10.
Blazor or Angular and React?
That depends mostly on your team. If it writes C#, Blazor saves a second language, a second build and duplicated models. If it is at home in the JavaScript ecosystem, Angular or React often remains the better choice.
Can you migrate an existing WebForms or MVC application to Blazor?
Yes, page by page, while the application keeps shipping. Usually this includes the step from .NET Framework to current .NET.
The guide from .NET Framework 4.8 to modern .NETOur Blazor application is slow. Can you help?
Yes. We find unnecessary re-renders, oversized payloads and circuit problems, and rethink the render model per page where it pays off. It often starts with a short code review.
Do you offer Blazor training for our team?
Yes, remotely, in-house at your offices or at a venue we organise, as a ready-made course or tailored to your team.

Personally, I am also very pleased with the good collaboration with our internal team. BitSpire is regularly on site with us and is always greeted with a smile.
