From PHP to Umbraco and .NET, at a fixed price
We migrate your PHP website, whether WordPress, TYPO3, Drupal or custom-built, to an open source CMS on .NET. With a fixed price per step, no licence fees, and hosted where you want it: in your own infrastructure or by us on Azure in Switzerland.
For companies whose website runs on PHP and should stop waiting for patches
Most company websites run on PHP. That is fine as long as someone keeps the versions current. Often nobody does, until a flaw like PHP2Shell arrives.
-
PHP 8.2 is running out
Security support for PHP 8.2 ends on 31.12.2026. PHP 8.1 and older already get no official fixes today.
-
The agency is gone
The website was built years ago, the agency no longer exists or does not respond. Nobody in-house knows the code.
-
Your team already writes .NET
Your applications run on .NET, only the website does not. After the migration the same team looks after both, with the same tools.
Three steps, fixed prices
You keep the costs under control and decide after every step whether to go on.
- 01 · Small fixed price
PHP legacy check
We review the PHP version, hosting and access of your website and rate the risk. Then we work out with you what stays, what goes and what is new. The result: a clear scope and a binding offer.
- 02 · Fixed price
Migration and build
Content, page structure and URLs move to the new CMS, including the agreed extensions. A reserve for small changes is planned in.
- 03 · Time and materials, capped monthly
Operations and development
Updates, security patches and new wishes. Billed by effort, with a fixed monthly ceiling. Your team can take over at any time.
What sets the fixed price: the number of page types and templates, languages, forms and integrations with other systems. We agree the scope together in the check. You then get a binding quote, with no surprises on the invoice.
With you or with us. You decide, and you can switch later.
Code and content belong to you in both options. The only difference is who runs the servers.
In your infrastructure
The website runs in your cloud or on your servers, the code lives in your repository. We hand over cleanly and stay on board for updates and development if you want.
With us, on Azure in Switzerland
We run the website for you in the Azure Switzerland North region in Zurich. Your data stays in Switzerland, in line with the revised Swiss data protection act (revDSG). We take care of updates, security patches and monitoring.

Frequently asked questions about migrating from PHP to .NET
How much does it cost to migrate a PHP website to Umbraco?
You pay a fixed price per step. The check costs a small fixed price. You then get a binding fixed-price quote for the migration, depending on page types, languages, forms and integrations. Operations are billed by effort, with a fixed monthly ceiling.
How long does the migration take?
We set the schedule in the check, together with the fixed price. Your current website keeps running unchanged until the switch-over, so there is no gap.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No, as long as the URLs move along. We keep the existing URL structure or set up automatic 301 redirects from every old address to the new one.
Umbraco or Oqtane, which fits us?
Umbraco is the mature .NET CMS with a large community and an editor that content teams pick up quickly. Oqtane is built on Blazor and fits when the website should grow closely together with your own applications. We recommend what fits your case in the check.
Where does the website run after the migration?
Wherever you want: in your own infrastructure or with us on Azure in the Switzerland North region. Code and content belong to you in both cases, and you can switch later at any time.
We are on PHP 8.2. Do we need to act now?
Patch, yes, right away. Security support for PHP 8.2 ends on 31.12.2026, after which 8.2 gets no official fixes either. Now is a good moment to plan the migration rather than the next upgrade.
